  • Form line and defense ?

Titans and Dogs both looking very average this year. We've also leaked points to both teams who have offered very little in attack ( yes a few tries directly from our errors). I hope I'm wrong but unless we tighten up our D and control the ball the Panthers could bring us back to reality

We've won 2 games, both that we fought to win control BUT the problem is that when we lose the ball by a knock on or a penalty, then the likelihood of the other team scoring is very high. It's like their concentration drops maybe worrying about that error. There needs to be farking loud general to get the team to respond and attack. Is there one?

You are spot on. Winning is great, but we need to go to a much higher level if we are to beat Penrith out there. They have gotta respect possession. Find the right balance between attacking footy and holding the ball.

Which is exactly what Trent was saying in the presser. While we may be looking ok in attack so far, some poor defensive reads and dropped balls, or not collecting loose balls which lead to opposition tries are things we need to fix.

Yes, our defence has been crap against moderate opposition, I was surprised if its true they have let Copely go already, we are vunerable in the centre position, as it is, and now even more so if he is gone. Penrith will be the first real test this season so far, so its fingers crossed the defence aims up this week.

            100% correct.
The Chooks shouldnt be so concerned about how many points they can score they should be concerned about how many points they can stop Penrith from scoring.
Penrith have to be the favourites for this game & the Roosters have just got to try to get in an arm wrestle with them & hopefully match them resulting in a very close game..

Penrith are an OK team but a lot of people on here are going way overboard about them. We have the better team, all things equal we'll win.
