- Lindsay Collins who was brilliant in the trials
- Brock Gray who looks a real prospect at second row
- Poasa Faamausili to see how he's progressing at a higher level
- The halves Cornish & Nikorima, two young talents who lost their way a little somewhere along the road to First Grade, both extremely talented.
- Chris Smith, Brendand Santi & Vunakece who may all offer us some depth at some point in the season.

Solid effort. Good team effort.
I don't think any individual stood out.
Commentator was impressed with Copley but I wasn't.
Fijian with lots of hair made 2 mistakes.
Nikorima is too weak in defence. I'd be surprised if he ever played first grade again anywhere.
Carter put in a nice kick for a try to Manu and kicked a 40/20.
Cornish controlled the game well but not much spark.
