SKD deserves more respect that you lot are given him - 222 games and 120 tries for the Roosters and 20 tests for NZ- We Like him(my Wife and I) and hope we can find some coin for him stay if he wants too as I suppose his next contract maybe his last NRL one- at 29 has a few years in him still - not many Big Artie recruits still playing apart from Friend at the Roosters- don't know if Maubs or MP were Big Artie recruits though??- Rocks and Diamonds sure but he is and has always been Roosters through and through- told by some knucklehead he was not in the top 100 centres in NZ when in the junior Warriors system and then cut. Went home told his dad he wanted to go to Australia - scraped the money together came over and whilst playing for the Clovelly Crocodiles(I think that was the team) was recruited and signed by Big Artie and the rest is history. Don't know of anyone that had a background and start to their dream of an NLR career like that and eventually succeeded in that dream.

Settle mate. Majority of ppl on this forum DO respect SKD. He played very well last year. One of the few positives. Been a great Clubman. But the rocks far outweigh the Diamonds now. To be honest he looks like a shot bird to me. Maybe a fresh start at Newcastle would be good for him.
