I know he's been mentioned in other threads but gee I think he came of age tonight. To me it looked like he had complete clarity in his role, simply run hard lines to holes, ball playing was put away on most occasions. Outstanding

I don't think anyone saw this one coming, I mean I thought he had a good chance of making it as a second rower but not as a lock playing in the middle of the field doing very little ball playing and largely just running the ball.
When Robbo named him over Carter I was sure Cordner would move into the middle but again Robbo has seen something I don't think anyone else did!
2nd most run metres behind only JWH if you don't mind..

I saw Reynolds crying in front of me after the game and yelled out 'WHAT ARE YOU CRYING ABOUT?!?!? GO SAY SORRY TO COOPER YOU GRUB!!!' He looked up at me with a pretty broken looking face.

I saw it and said it may times last year he can only get better...he will become our danger man.
Thought he was up there with Ceary, Maubs Tetevano, Michell in our best...Nappa came to life a bitTwo things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe

Somebody commented hed run 40 plus post contact metres early on...i thought everyone went ok bar guerra, tetevano was a revelation, tupou looked quick at times, keary was great cords, jwh , friend, napa, aubo, pearce were solid, gordons goal kicking is a plus but he dont add a lot in terms of attack, but he doesnt seem lost, i thought skd did some good and bad things tbh , i didnt think watson was injected at the right time , also i thought the dogs played well at times, i know people on here hate giving credit to the opposition but they seem more attack minded this year and will challenge for the 8 i think, so yea im thrilled and somewhat relieved

On topic - Matterson had his best game in our colours. The metres he made after contact were huge!
