He is painful but then the dynamic duo him and fergo set up and scored a great try..

That's a worse idea than Skidsys long ball to RTS on the kick return in the Broncos Prelim

      Aubusson or Copley.

Is there anything that you found positive out of the win tonight?

He was great under the high ball. Was obviously a target. We all know he makes mistakes. Not necessary to highlight it yet again in it's own thread.

I normally look forward to your posts Johnny, but can't agree with that call. I reckon we might see Matterson there, based on how things shaped up tonight. And we know Aubbo can do the job.

Copely plays on the left. Can he play right centre?

                Lol plenty.

                See my Tetevano thread.

                And praise of Matterson.

And praise of Pearce and Keary.

                Anyrhing else?

2-0 is great no matter how we play but it doesn't mean I'm not allowed to highlight a couple of areas of improvement.

He had a tough night with the hands but you know he will have good games and bad games. His good games outweigh the bad and tonight wasn't that bad anyway.

If people can call for players heads in a winning side, they sound more like trolls than supporters to me.

Took the ones he had to, when that 3rd bomb in a row to him went up I thought if he's gonna drop a bomb itll be now. He's just that player always has always will be.

Very rarely does he make errors in defence, so I'll afford him the occasional dropped ball in attack.

Plenty of our team were guilty of poor ball control tonight, so I see no reason to single out skids. I thought his pass that went behind Gordon tonight was actually touched, but haven't seen a replay.

The concern with SKD - and others in our side - is how he reacts to pressure. As an experienced player, I would expect him to cope but instead, he is prone to panic. It seems to me that it is never a good time to offload when you are not in control of the momentum in a tackle. He should know that by now. Better to take your medicine, hold the ball and work hard to get out of your own end.

Unfortunately, we don't seem to have a calming presence out there, a senior player, a real leader that can get them together and say "Look, they are coming for us right now. We have to match their intensity. Dig in for the next ten minutes. Hold the line in defence. Give them nothing, control the ball, complete our sets and we will get back on top." Position vacant. Who wants to step up?

We haven't had one of those in a while. Panic mode set's in then they run around like chook's with their heads cut off : P

I can tell you it was a bad pass. He was hit after the pass.
