Mixed bag. He gave away three penalties and kicked out on the full. But I think he has the best long kick in the comp.

The penalty Pearce gave away in the play the ball with Reynolds was rubbish. Reynolds walks forward off the mark them plays it back into Pearce.

He shoulda been smarter with that one on one steal with Mbye tho. That was late in the tackle count.

I thought Pearcey had a fairly decent game. He wasn't the only one to stuff something up tonight but it's still very early and if we can be as rusty as we are and still start the season with 2 from 2 then there's a lot to look forward to.

SKD is a tough one because I'm not convinced there's an obvious solution and his yardage ability on kick returns or early plays is so vital to the way we play.

Robbo has been uncharacteristically vocal our left edge defence in general. Latrell last week, Keary this week.

It definitely is a concern and the Bulldogs targeted us heavily there tonight so the opposition have already picked up on it. The first Dogs try was way too soft as was Adam Elliott's

Aren't you supposed to be marking the player on the outside? The dog player came inside Keary. Mind you, he's defence is as good as Maloney which is crap and his attack I feel is close or as good as Maloney. ✔️
