I know anything that Danny Wiedler writes should be taken with a grain of salt, but he's nonetheless reported the following:

    "Trying colours

The Roosters look like they are in for a bumper season, but there is one person under the pump already, chief executive John Lee. The former Souths boss was considered a big signing by the Rosters, but we are hearing rumblings from within their ranks that he has not got the support he had when he arrived.

Lee handled the Dylan Walker-Aaron Gray and Mitchell Pearce dramas very well in his two jobs. It remains to be seen if he will survive this year. There was talk he was going to get the axe before Christmas."

As a fan looking in from the outside I obviously can't comment but it's a potentially destabilising situation...

Poor old Nick all he ever wanted was a smart bloke to run the place so he could relax a bit ....
Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe

How did he handle the Pearce thing well? Pearce and our whole season were crucified.

He "hasn't got the support "? That means he is going nowhere. Keep up the good work, John.

I always thought when Gurr returned from the states he'd be back with us.

Geez the bulldogs are kidding themselves, they've lost the player group. Too big for their boots I reckon. Maybe Sonny walking out on them was justified to some extent.

And yes we dodged a bullet with Hayne, what a pickled Merkin. Don't even want him in the blues side
