  • How good was Latrell's tackle on Hayne.....

Shut the plane down for the match following that. The media beating up his bomb catch but he offered little after being smashed

A new generation led by Latrell has arrived.....

Am not a south's basher but it was a symbolic change of guard with Inglis going down & Mitchell's hat trick.

Fergo's defence was smashing!!! On multiple occasions he spotted an overlap, spotted the outside pass and left the receiver feeling sorry for himself. Always a risk, but last night it paid off on multiple occasions.

FWIW all my mates were expecting us to get spanked. Hayne, Hurrell and Proctor were left out of the 1st half due to our pace. Not a small achievement in round 1, up in QLD with muggy conditions.

To me the turning point that sealed the game was when SKD showed the guts to check Hayne while he was chasing his kick. Hayne gave us a McEnroe 'YOU CAN NOT BE SERIOUS!!!!' and lost his cool while we slowed down, started controlling the pace again and sealed the 2 points. To me this was more impressive than the first half because it showed something we NEVER did last year... we stopped their momentum and sealed the deal when it mattered (during an away game). Gold!

Yes, last year they would've been run down. Still did some stupid things towards the end, but I guess it showed they were still trying things.

And just on Hayne....How lucky are we that we didn't sign this guy. He was not sighted in the first half. I remember Hindmarsh saying that if things didn't go Haynes way he would drop right out of the game. That's exactly what happened last night until he scored from that bomb.

And he has already been fined by the Titans leadership group for poor training. This is their million dollar superstar!
            No thanks. Well done recruitment.

Yep we avoided a real disaster with Hayne.

SBW was a true champion who's commitment was to the team. Hayne's only commitment is to himself.

If he wasn't egotistical enough before embarking on an adventure to the land and sport of individualist egos, he sure as hell has an ego to rival Donald Trumps now.

Loved it! Gee, he must be strong, Latrell. He just monstered Hayne in that tackle!

Speaking of that grotesque creature in the White House, sad to see both Phil Gould and Andrew Voss retweeting Trump's hateful bile on Twitter. Very disappointing.

I was wondering how long it would be before someone got on the beatup on Trump wagon. Please keep your sh1t comments for some other forum. As a Trump supporter I come on here to read about my beloved Roosters not some biased opinion on politics.

Just saw some footage of him from the 2016 Koori Knockout and I agree... you don't run at Latrell Mitchell.

That shoulder really shook Hayne up as he really didn't get that involved after that.
