  • Elliot will serve the Roosters well in 2012.

With our remaining roster and a fresh off season, couple that with his relationship with Todd and Justin and his view of the roosters from an opposition out look, Elliot will bring plenty...time to think and reflect and take an objective view on all the opposition teams for the remainder of 2011 will give Elliot wisdom above all coaches that only get the normal time off!! Elliot will be an asset to the try colours in 2012. to what extent I'm not yet sure, one things is certain its only up from here.GO THE ROOSTERS!!!!!!!!!!!! Welcome Matt Elliot........

I'm assuming you mean Justin Carney? If so, Elliott wasn't there when Carney was at the Raiders and I doubt he coached him at Trangie either.

I don't understand the role of Piggy Riddell and why he gets a coaching job ahead of recently retired Rooster players. He gave jack-all to this club.
As was stated earlier this year, why not give Horrie Hastings the role of conditioner if his credentials stack up?

Does he have a paid gig? I thought Smith was just allowing him to hang around to see what goes on behind the scenes with the coaches so he can decide if its something he wants to pursue full time.

In my opinion, it was a PR excercise to hide the fact that he was tapped on the shoulder. Aside from telling jokes, i don't think he does anything at training, if he makes it out there at all.

                            Elliot is a retarded acquisition.

He's expertly steered every one of his clubs into mediocrity.

Disagree. He hasn't had much cattle at either previous club.

He strikes me as a bloke who says what he thinks as well.

                              I'm glad he's on board
