I flicked to the Fox 24hr League Channel last night to see what it was like.

The show was the Fox League Launch.

I turned it off after 20 seconds.

All I needed to see was Summons and Proven looking like Statler & Waldorf dribbling on and telling us that Churchill is the best ever and that Coote was a fine player.

I am sick of seeing these two being rolled out. Their recollections have relevance to only a hand full of almost extinct dinosaurs. For the majority of league fans they may as well have been talking about paint drying on the wall.

And I find it cynical that NRL/Fox only go on about the history of the game when it suits them. They couldn't be less interested most of the time.

I must admit i like a lot of the Rugby League shows on Fox. I do agree though that it was the most boring launch of a show I've ever seen and having those two crapping on at the start was unnecessary.

Stop your whinging, at least we now have a channel dedicated to league, and it's something we should've had years ago. League brings lots more revenue to Foxtel than AFL does, the ratings say so. You won't enjoy everything they put on air, but I'm sure there are others out there who will enjoy the stuff you don't .

I thought they were stitching up viewers with the announcement of a Queenslanders Only show featuring Justin Hodges. Geez..........feel sorry for Qld based Roosters fans.

I like the fact that there's a league channel. Sadly, I doubt I will bring myself to watch any of the shows on it (apart from the games themselves).
