  • Titans Injury News

The Titans have had a horror run at today's trial game against the Warriors, with six of their playing roster coming away with injuries.

Most concerning is the shoulder problem that Nathan Peats picked up, with Triple M and the Australian's Brent Read reporting that the hooker will likely be spending some time on the sideline.

Peats went off in just the 12th minute of play, and the early news is that he'll miss the first few rounds.

The club has said that he'll be having more scans tomorrow.

Ryan Simpkins also went off with a rib problem, while Peats' replacement Pat Politoni sustained an arm injury.

Tyler Cornish (concussion), Morgan Boyle (concussion) and John Olive (pectoral)

No one a centre? JC, does this in any way make Copley more attractive to them?

John Olive is a centre/winger recruited last year from Souffs. Pectoral injuries are usually long term.

Bugger - I've got Hayne, Proctor & Peats in my fantasy team.
There's a reason why the young and idealistic become the old and cynical.
              It's called experience.

Below is from a Fox Sport columnist. Cant remember which one.

                  HAYNE NO CERTAINTY

TITANS superstar Jarryd Hayne has been telling people he could be in doubt for Gold Coast’s round one clash with the Sydney Roosters due to a knee injury.
Hayne picked up the injury in the Auckland Nines and has been on restricted training duties over the past fortnight.
When we checked with the Titans, they assured us the club’s star signing would definitely be fit and available for round one.

Makes the Titans even more dangerous.

I hear ya but I'd still love for him to be missing. I think the Titans have a really strong squad now. It's gonna be a tough opener.
