RTS @$800K per season seems pretty reasonable right now.

Roger's last season with us was unparalleled. I was absolutely dumbfounded when we lost him, the biggest balls up I've seen at Easts ever. My 11 yo daughter and wife were devastated also, he would have truly been a Roosters great!

I was always worried he would do a knee, years of practising a very abrupt step. And it wasn't 800, it was 850, and for us a mil to match when tax comes into it. Considering lattrell was coming thru, see ya.

He will also go to union assuming he doesn't do a knee again. Never would have spent his career with us anyway.

            $850k for 2016 & he played 7 games. I reckon thats overs.
$930k a season for JT is to much IMO. The Tigers need him more than what the Roosters do.
I reckon the top front rowers hookers & halfbacks are worth that kind of money.

I still think about how we re-signed Guerra for about 500k before talking to RTS. That money should have gone to Roger.

From a retention point of view he's our biggest loss in my time and I don't see that changing for 50 years. Take out our GF and Prelim losses and losing RTS is the worst day I can recall as a Roosters fan.

And with his ACL and style of play, not to mention back to back awful coaches at the Warriors, who knows if he'll ever reach the heights of 2015 again. I suspect not.
Agree with that but I think Latrell will make up for it.

he was rated as good as RTS at the same age.
Hey mate, do they play at Gosford before first grade as per usual?

As person yes. As a player meh! Lazy by nature. I'll take Latrell 2017 over RTS anyday.

If the Warriors paid what was reported for Roger then they paid overs & IMO he will never reach the heights that he reached playing for the Roosters playing for the Warriors. I bet he never wins a comp there.

Maloney was just a bigger loss.
If the club wanted RTS they would have kept him.. Lazy by nature never be a grandfinal take it by the scruff neck type.. Robbo knew it n let him go!!

Maloney had another premiership in him a genuine competitor... RTS will never win another NRL premiership.. A return to Rugby ain't far off..

Latrell could be anything but there are still plenty of question marks on him. It's no guarantee that he will make it.

Roger was a superstar both on and off the field.

Hey Yak, yep the NYC play at 2-30pm, hope your doing one of your legendary pre-season write-ups as the game won't be streamed.
