keep an eye out for this kid, will make his NYC debut in this weekend's trial.

we signed him 2yrs ago out of the NZ Rugby Union development system, he was rated as one of their best prospects.

he was rated as good as RTS at the same age.

    Fullback then I presume?

Let's hope he's the next RTS and not the next Henari Veratau.

I remember OSullivan rated him one of his best prospects. Pretty sure they were flying him over late last year for a few games. Plays anywhere from Full back to 5/8.

Thanks for that. I shed a tear when reading his goal was to play alongside RTS at the roosters. We lost so much off the field as well letting that kid slip through the net.

            It's sad for both parties.

RTS could have been Sydney's most marketable athlete. He was so popular with the kids and would have become a club legend.

I still think about how we re-signed Guerra for about 500k before talking to RTS. That money should have gone to Roger.

From a retention point of view he's our biggest loss in my time and I don't see that changing for 50 years. Take out our GF and Prelim losses and losing RTS is the worst day I can recall as a Roosters fan.

And with his ACL and style of play, not to mention back to back awful coaches at the Warriors, who knows if he'll ever reach the heights of 2015 again. I suspect not.

Freeman going was very bad at the time but I have to admit that nothing comes close to Roger.

Gary Freeman? He was a gun for us. Didn't he move on to Penrith? I remember my mate's parents purchased his old house at Kings Langley. Did he join us from Balmain?

I don't think he'll be at the Warriors beyond 2018. He wants to be an All Black.

You're right to question if he'll get back to his 2015 form. Russell Fairfax was never the same player after breaking his leg. Anthony Minichiello was never the same after his back injury.

Although he's not there yet, I think Latrell will ultimately prove to be a more durable option and could still be playing for us in 2030.

Yeah thanx to Freeman we at least had 2 of the better seasons during the dark decade. Won more games than we lost. Was sad to see Walker move on when he left .

He was all we had. And yes on your timeline.

                        Walker too, Good call.

Funny I don't put Morley in the list even though he is my favourite ever.

I was pretty devastated after the player exodus of 1982.

If Roger really wanted to be a Rooster he would have stayed with the Roosters a champion team & club but Roger was born & bred in NZ & felt it was time to go home. If the Warriors paid what was reported for Roger then they paid overs & IMO he will never reach the heights that he reached playing for the Roosters playing for the Warriors. I bet he never wins a comp there.

Maloney was just a bigger loss.

Paid overs? Maybe that was a fair call at the time but by the end of 2015 it was unders.

Maloney only had another couple of years left but Roger had a decade. Also, look at the stats. Maloney didn't get close.

                              Up Pompey I say!

Re RTS...I think the development of Latrell more than negates his loss. So we've done ok.
