  • Adelaide Oval

Who is going to Adelaide for the Roosters vs Storm match in June ? Booked airfares and accommodation and just bought tickets through the members pre sale.

Not me but I hope they win for your sake because it's a long way to go to watch them lose.

Haven't been to Adelaide for about 18 years so this is good reason to go, will be interesting to see how Adelaide Oval is, also to see the pandas at Adelaide zoo and visit some of the wineries. Just wish it wasn't in the middle of winter though, lol.

I haven't been to Adelaide Oval before so not really sure of the lay out but I got tickets this morning through ticketek in section 135 row c. There is a link to the seating plan in the previous post.

Sounds like it's going to be a blast. Wish I could make it. 😔

Ill be there - accommodation booked and will book airfare this week. Hoping I have enough QFF points to pay for it. Taking a few days off and going on Thurs and returning Mon. Always enjoy Adelaide and haven't been there for a few years. The Roosters have an Adelaide pack so I might have a look at that as a friend will be in Adelaide at the same time so might go to the game as well. Footy and wineries - two of this Chook's fave things A nice midyear break from work.

Looking forward to going to Adelaide Oval to watch the game. It looks like a fantastic ground from what I've seen by watching other sports play there.

You people attending the game in Adelaide need to be commended.

No commendation necessary It's an opportunity for a few days break in a city I enjoy visiting, with the footy being an excuse to make the effort to book.

I'm hoping the footy is a better experience than being thrashed by Nth Qld in Darwin. If that didn't put me off travelling to watch the Chooks, nothing will!

I go to Adelaide quite a bit and it's a great ground to watch cricket and AFL.

It's more of a traditional oval shaped ground so might not be too bad watching rugby league.

I'd suggest going for a few days so you can head up to the Barossa, only an hours drive.

Haven't been to Adelaide for about 18 years so will be interesting to see how much its changed, booked accommodation from Tuesday and flying back out Sunday, looking forward to some of the wineries, loved Mclaren Vale last time I went but will probably do the Barossa this trip, also looking forward to see the Pandas at Adelaide zoo, head down to Glenelg and also check out Poh Lings café at Adelaide markets. Flying Virgin this time because it was cheaper, keeping my Qantas points for either the US or Europe.
