IT’S hard to imagine the Roosters needing any more playmakers but that didn’t stop them chasing classy Tiger Mitchell Moses and signing him to a rich four-year deal.
Only problem was, the old “cooling off” period came into play and the 22-year-old did a DCE-style backflip on the deal a few days later, leaving Roosters officials fuming.
The sweet-stepping five-eighth already has 57 games to his credit and is one of the most sought-after playmakers on the market for 2018.
Though Moses has knocked back the rich Roosters deal, there is still no guarantee he will remain in the Wests tigers colours.
The joint venture is desperate to keep the Moses-Brooks partnership together but faces stiff opposition for Moses from at least four other clubs.
