  • Chad's Funeral

    http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/spo...744b631fd7ef36

I was really proud of how the roosters turned out at Chad's Funeral. Suits and club ties.

Showed proper respect to Chad and our club. These are not current players but ex-players doing the right thing.

Compare that with how Joel Reddy and Nathan Hindmarsh kitted themselves out for it. Grothe? No comment. Piggy, well done.

Says a lot about our club. And theirs.

This really has been such a sad story. I can't imagine how his kids must feel.

And yes as Roosters fans we can always be immensely proud of the way everyone involved with the club conducts themselves off the field at official functions and gatherings.

We really do look after our own - past and present.

The thing is - that isn't an official function. It's them turning up of their own volition in their own time. And coming correct. So proud and impressed by it.

I am shattered for the family. It's just terrible. Beyond words really.

The Chooks personnel at the funeral represented their club and its supporters with class and grace.

So sad that Chad couldn't find a way forward in life. Hard to understand and comprehend.

Can only hope he is at peace now.

Your so right. It might seem small but it was so impressive too see former players dressed in suits and Roosters ties looking so respectful for such a sad occasion. Made you proud
