I think Hastings going means Copley probably stays. We need the depth out wide.

The only reason to get rid of Copely is if we could get a prop to replace him, if not keep him for depth. Still feel we are short a hard working prop

I think we might be looking toward the youth on that front after signing Knight and Collins and re-signing Faamausili

I'm a big fan of Aubo but I think 2016 was pretty poor by his standards. Either way a pretty poor Aubo over a bludging Guerra any day of the week.

The whole team was crap from 1 to 17 with very few shing lights...not one of them had their minds on the job .I expect different this year...I hope.

Good thread. In my opinion, our pack is pretty solid. This is one position though that is definitely up for grabs, along with one bench prop spot. If Guerra plays up to 2013 form then I think we will have a good year. It forces Aubo back to the bench and that means we have a very handy bench. Having said that, Aubo goes better with big minutes and right-side second row is definitely his best position.

Given the balance of the squad though, do we need a game-breaker in the pack? Is the confusion about who serves us best because neither quite fits what we truly need? Looking back at some of the old games on the weekend, Gould and Stuart always seemed to have at least one ball player in the back row. Fletcher is an example. Is our current pack a bit predictable/same do you think?
