2017 - Year of the Rooster

Living here in Hong Kong I am soon to be overwhelmed by Chinese New Years celebrations. As some of you probably know 2017 will be the Chinese Year of the Rooster. A good omen perhaps? I think we have a good shot at playing finals football in 2017. How does everyone else rate our chances?

Definitely a top 8 side if Pearce and keary can stay on the Park. The rest will probably rely on how far latrell can develop. Might have $50 on him for dally m and hope he blows them off the park.

Pretty much all other Chinese year of the roosters have been rubbish for us, so let's hope there is no omen there,

We have the talent to launch a 2010 style run if we have luck with injuries and time our run to the finals.

But I agree that a lot will depend on Latrell. If he clicks at fullback then anything is possible as I believe Keary/Pearce will be an awesome halves pairing. We also have immense forward depth this year so a lot of positives.

I'm not getting too carried away. As awesome as our forwards are.....can we hold the ball for 70-80% completion rates knowing Fergo SKD Twopoo and Gordon are in our back 5?
