  • Taukeiaho

    Good man, I like SST.

Just hope he doesn't come back too early.

He's got a stack of muscle mass, and has that fast lateral footwork close to the line which is not kind to recovering ACLs.....

Sio Siua Taukeiaho is the sort of person a club could build a culture around. Not only is he a great footballer but from what I can gather, he is just a humble down to earth person. No theatrics or carry on with him and I just like the way he goes about his business. Would love to see him make a full recovery, play 80 minutes at lock, kick lots of goals and play in a premiership team with the Roosters. And I'll bet he treats his new bride with the utmost respect too. I hope those nuff nuffs we signed take a leaf out of his book.
"Do you expect me to talk"? "No, Mr. Bond, I expect you to die".

Love the dude as well but disagree with him playing 80min. Is much more effective when he gets a break, the games where he has played more mintues hasn't had as much impact on the game

How does an anti gravity treadmill work?! Is it on the ceiling or something?

He's already signed until the end of 2020 same as JWH, and thats without the two of them even knowing what the cap is going to be, which makes me think they both genuinely want to spend their careers at the club. Not that there was really any doubt about JWH.

I think SST's tipping point will come when he realises just how good he is.

I remember in 2015 listening to an interview (I can't remember who it was) but they were talking about how they were always shouting at SST to take more carries because of dominant he was but that he was quite tentative due to all the stars we already had in the side.

In 2016 he was kind of forced into a role where he had to take on a greater workload due to all the injuries and poor performances and I thought he was excellent. I think the extra workload probably took a little bit of quality away from him but once he gets used to the extra endurance requirements of an increased workload I think he will start killing it, just needs that little bit of belief. Hopefully the extended contract gives that to him.

Agree with this. It really is like he doesn't quite realize how good he is. Hopefully his confidence keeps building.

Yeah ay us Maori boys are always taught to share from a young age, our girls, our live stock the footy us country boys especially hey bro. Not a lot of choice sheilas to go around, so if you get a keeper you gotta treat them well hey. SST is choice though.
