  • 2017 Draw Rumour

I have heard a very weak rumour that the boys will be playing an away game in Adelaide at Adelaide Oval. Considering a relocated to Adelaide some years ago, this is a very tasty rumour for me. I was hoping that someone else had heard the same or could confirm?

Source has told me its the Storm. Really interested to see the draw. More has come out that they are building a base in Port Adelaide.

Well I suspect it's a good thing for bgrussell because he lives in Adelaide and would like to watch some NRL live. I did read something about the Port Adelaide base and the prospect of the Chooks playing a game in SA.

I'd certainly look at a few days in Adelaide if the Roosters played a game over there in 2017 - a game of footy, a few winery tours and plenty of tasting ... sounds like the perfect long weekend away for this Chook.

It's not even Roosters looking to re locate. Shane Richardson, Blake Solly and ALP rep Jay Weatherill were having lunch in Birkenhead a couple of weeks ago which set off alarm bells in the media. Now it's a big shamozzle but from my point of view it's pointing to Souths enquiring about something down that way.
