    Stay tuned...

    ...for about mid-late December.

Most poorly run organisation in world sport.

The nrl will roll out "teething problems" and getting it nailed down for next year.

        Lol so true.

I could have the fixtures done in a weekend, accounting for all club requests.

And yet these merkins with their huge paypackets take almost 3 months.

It's a shocking display of incompetence.

Tommy. The nrl could also do it over a weekend, the challenging component is broncos friday nights monopoly and the "biasing" factor

Got nothing to do with club requests , its got all to do with Ch9 requests

Well yes I'd account for them too. By telling them to **** off.

Point being I just can't fathom how it takes 3 months.

Give the Broncos every Friday night game. If not, Thursday night.

Avoid putting the Warriors, Knights or Raiders on at prime time.

There, that'll be Channell 9 sorted in a nutshell.

Does it really matter if its now or december or later even?

People like to plan their holidays/breaks in advance and if the draw is out earlier they can plan their breaks and holidays around that or even plan a trip interstate or to NZ for an away game.

If you want to try and get cheap flights to Auckland/Townsville/Brisbane etc, the earlier the better.

Nicola I'll always get a season ticket regardless of what the draw is. But I think some may like to see the draw to determine if it's worth their while to get a season ticket.
The membership team is desperate to sign us up immediately but fair enough that some may want to see how many Sunday games we have for example or if we are taking a home game to The Central Coast or somewhere else.

At the end of the day some are just curious and others will just take every available opportunity to comment on the underwhelming achievements of rugby leagues administrators verses the professionalism of the AFL.

That really $hits me how the Broncos play nearly every Friday night. Especially living up here, so they are the first game.

Yep Broncos for Fridays or Thursdays. Then 9 picks every game they can which involves the Vermin / Parra / Dogs (as long as it doesn't involve Storm / warriors/ Raiders).
It should be an easy job that just requires some copy and pasting from the last 5 draws.

We've gone to the bunker and should have an answer by 2020...It may not be right but, what the hell...

Well at least 2017 is the last year that the TV broadcasters control the scheduling. 2018 onwards it reverts to the control of the NRL and hopefully they will do a better apportioning of prime time TV slots for the clubs than 9 does. It is shameful that clubs like Canberra and Melbourne are very rarely shown on FTA while teams like Broncs and Dogs/Vermin are a regular feature. It gives some clubs such an unfair advantage over others when it comes to sponsorships etc, as companies know if they sponsor the Broncs/Dogs/Vermin their company logo is splashed over FTA weekly.
Supporting the RW&B, through good times and bad times.
