The Canberra Raiders signed Bellamy in their debut season, 1982. He played the majority of his career in the centres but was also used as a utility player, appearing at times as fullback, winger, five-eighth and lock. After the Raiders won the 1989 NSWRL season's Grand Final (which he wasn't selected for), Bellamy traveled with the Raiders to England for the 1989 World Club Challenge, but didn't play in the loss to Widnes at Old Trafford.

'In other signing news, the Roosters have signed Parramatta back-up half Mitchell Cornish.'
WTFFFFFF?!?!?
Pearce, Keary, Watson, Matterson, Nikorima, Hastings, Tyler Cornish, Mitch Cornish. Enough halves yet?
PS - the Cornish brothers were MASSIVE names around Canberra a while back. What happened to them? Are they any good?

IF ANYTHING, 2017 should be interesting.
We have a tonne of halves, many second rate, and/or not ready for FG.
We have an odd bunch of assistant coaches, Fitzy, Holbrook, king, johns, halligan, mini, etc. most specialist but you see what I mean.
A bunch of centres that are better wingers.
No towering props off the bench I.e. See Canberra.
And prob more signings to come via Bargains Bonanza.
BTW, I guess Fitzy is our forwards / and or conditioning coach, but do we have a defensive coach?Last edited by PeeGee; 10-28-2016, 06:49 PM.Roosters For Ever

I know its an outdated thought process but i can't help it, wingers will always be the dudes that hang around footballers
Footballers are dudes who hang around wingers.Originally posted by King Salvo 'Tedesco and Woods will be more than likely Dogs signings but both will give Tigers last shot - we are not in the race anymore'
