I get he hasn't played for a few weeks.
Calling for what is was....a terrible game. After I posted, he also dropped the ball cold in the PTB.

JWH didn't have a great game either. Why not do the old Kanagroo Tours in lieu of these tournaments in Australian heat?

Also FWIW I thought they really tried hard to promote the game over in the west, with a sellout and catering for both indigenous traditions. Respect

While the std our team set was pretty low SKD was one of the best for the majority of the season.
I haven't the games from last night and I don't doubt he may have had a shocker, but a lot of our few highlights this year came off the back of his quick play the balls.
      I agree.

SKD was our best for the at least the first 2/3 months off the competition.

Lol brah calm down we all know SKD was one of our best this year, anyone who disagrees has rocks (and diamonds) in their head.

It was just a performance last night for the ages.

          A real vintage performance.

JWH's hit on JT was up there too.

          At least Cords played well

FFS, yes he was our best all year, and yes he hasn't played for 7 weeks.

But he was farked, and I mean farked. Dropped the ball nearly every carry. Very very bad.

At least he kept trying but of course he kept dropping the friggin pill.

What's with you guys with the trash talk. SKD played one of the worst games ive ever seen by a player in an international.

7 weeks off is not an excuse for cntinually dropping the friggin pill.

By the way , do you think he will learn how to draw and pass, and pass the ball left to right in the off season. Lol

SKD just isn't and never has been a centre.

Put him on the wing and he'll star. Put him in the centres and he just turns to crap.

Yep Agree. Throw in Fergo, and once again we will have a Shyte load of wingers, and no classy centres (that can defend). Please not Maubs for another season.

Geeze this sounds familiar. Oh yeah, 2016.

I just think sometimes he plays like shit and that's there's no reasoning for it.

Look at years like 2010 and 2014 where he played centre and killed it.

Whatever Hillbilly, he has been consistent all his career in missing tackles and dropping balls. His defensive reads are in braille. Has scored a few tries, but has let just as many, if not more. As I said, very consistent. Pity Roger signed with the Warriors as he was gone if he hadn't.

Here here mate. Some people have so little a clue it's tragic. One shocker for NZ and all of a sudden he was terrible for the Roosters all year? How do you come to a conclusion like that.

Hes a far better winger than a center imo.

Yak. I think you are one of the better posters on here. Most insightful, well considered posts.

I can only speak for my perspective of Easts. We make far too many mistakes. SKD bleeds RWB but when you play him with Fergo the Forklift, Toupou and LAtrell we have far too many errors in us. Look at the Grand Finalists and their respective ability to play near error free footy.

I wish this quartet would improve their errors but they just don't seem to. Don't know if it's Robbo or the players just cant. Bringing this all together, if we wish to compete, players need to remove errors (I doubt they can based on previous years) or we shed 1-2 of them. FWIW I hope SKD is not shed.

Like any player TBH. GI had a RUBBISH season... then scored a double for Australia the other night, so came out looking like a hero.

JT went missing during the finals (was expected to make the GF).

I know players are professional and they are paid to be consistent. However, sometimes you just can't win a trick. Other times you fluke it and literally nothing goes wrong. SKD had what... GI, Fergo, Duges, Holmes and Boyd to defend against. It just wasn't the Kiwis' night.

Yep Agree 100%. It was not the Kiwi's night. BUT, dropping the ball so many times is inexcusable. Over and Over he kept making mistakes. I've seriously never seen ONE player drop the ball so many times in any game (forget the fact it was an international).

I'm a fan of SKD and Toups and even Fergo. But c'mon, we have so many errors in us. Errors and Penalties will kill us again in 2017. It's basic stuff. How could Robbo possibly coach anybody to HOLD ON TO THE BALL, or DRAW AND PASS, or THROW THE BALL BACKWARDS..............etc, etc.

However, MAYBE Skids was not 100% mentally ready for the game, who knows ??????????
