Shame they lack a world class hooker and SBW went off to play Union. It'd have to be one of the greatest packs ever assembled otherwise.

Just quietly I think Bromwich is a touch overrated, JWH deservedly back at rep level.

I'd swap Taupau for Liu.. Isaacs footwork, power and speed is what they lack off that bench. And yes Taukieaho would complete that pack.

A 9 that can pass would be good enough with that pack......

Personally I think the overrated one is tohu harris, but SBW in place of him would be a terrifying pack.

I thought tohu was close to Melbourne's best all year.

I backed him for Clive Churchill medal at 31s. I asked my Mrs to pick someone from cronulla and she tipped Luke Lewis at 21s but I didn't put it on cause I didn't think he'd get it.. Idiot.

Golden rule of the Clive Churchill medal is never back a non Australian, they are pretty much ineligible to win the award as it is decided by the Australian selectors Not saying he wouldn't have been a worthy recipient had Melbourne won. They would have given it to Cronk or Smith by default if the Storm had won and yes I agree with you that Harris is a gun.

Don't get me wrong he's far from a bad player, but I get the feeling he wouldn't be half as good without the players around him, much like dane nielson, sika manu and adam blair when he was at the tigers.

I think the Aussie back line is better & of course more experienced.
The Kiwi's have a bigger pack but I still think the Aussie pack is more mobile & just as tough. Cameron Smith will be the difference.
If the Aussies can hold their own in the forwards which I think they can they will have to much class in the backs for the Kiwi's IMO.
Im looking forward to this game & up up the Aussies.

Surely Manu Mau should start ahead of Proctor?
