To be fair, Fox have been reporting it for weeks at the bottom of every Roosters article (e.g. 'the roosters are expected to sign South Sydney utility Paul Carter on a one year deal).

At least it's a 1 yr deal only, with a $hitload of behavioral clauses. The contract is obviously as tight as a contract can be, so the Club has covered their backsides. The kid can obviously play and has a lot of mongrel in him. Robbo just needs to get a handle on that mongrel. He did it with Jared, maybe he can do it with Carter.

The thing with Robbo is , he has plenty of confidence in his ability to turn theses guys around. Ie. Fergo. You need to be a great man manager and Robbo is certainly that.

Paul Carter is untapped potential, if he gets his shit together he'll be in our starting 13.

If not then he'll at least offer us some good depth whilst SST is injured. Think it's a smart piece of business by the club.

Needs to clean up his act on and off the field. I remember him attacking the legs of a player against the Dragons this year as third man in. It seemed to be retaliation for what he thought had happened earlier in the game but it was calculated and dangerous. I don't want to see our players doing that, the game is tough enough without that.
