I can't agree with this. Whilst I have never really rated Andy Raymond or Kimmorley, they clearly showed a pretty decent knowledge of our players and were also quite 'pro' Roosters for the finals campaign. Throw in it was in HD and it was an excellent coverage.

Tragic the GF is not live on fox, it has been the best thing not having to listen t0 that ch 9 mob this year.

Butcher and Radley were great, and their supporting cast was very good as well: JTS, Joey Manu, young Frei (definitely not small-Frei), and the dude with the Samurai hair Tupouniua (I think)....

Great win by the younguns. Looks like we have a few promising players too who we'll hopefully see play NRL for us a few years down the track. I believe much of this team won the SG Ball comp 2 years ago as well so they've got some talent and great team combinations. The defence at this level is still very ordinary though.

Totally agree, Andy Raymond, Kimmorley and Alan Tongue are the ones who call the NYC week in, week out, and have an excellent knowledge of most of the player in the comp b because of it. The Fox coverage has been excellent all year and that continued through the finals campaign. I watched the Fox coverage all day until the GF and only wish they could cover that live as well - after a year of avoiding 9 apart from Origin having to suffer the ramblings of the 9 buffoons goes a good way to ruining a good game of footy. Didn't help the Sharks were dominant and they were so gleeful about it I suppose ...

Great win by the little Chooks - not the most talented side we've ever had but definitely the most committed. And I remember some were criticising Anthony Barnes being appointed as coach for this year. The man has done more to make these blokes work as a team and for each other than any other before him. And it's teams that win premierships, not individuals, no matter what grade.

And remember, he did it without Latrell Mitchell and Connor Watson and had to re-shuffle when Hastings didn't qualify for the finals. Mind you, that may not have been a bad thing, considering they didn't lose a game after that ...
