Manly prop Liam Knight held a farewell dinner with teammates at an Italian restaurant this week after being told he won’t be at the Sea Eagles in 2017.

Knight has plenty of promise but his loose ways have held him back.

Earlier this year he was done for drink-driving and speeding, spraying Aerogard in his mouth in a bid to beat the breath test.

The Sea Eagles didn't punt him then and actually handed him a first grade debut in round 15.

But they weren't prepared to go the long haul with him.

The kid will attempt to revive his career at the Roosters next year."

The Roosters had a crack at him earlier this year but Manly wouldnt release him. He is a risk because last year he broke his ankle pretty bad & then whilst recovering he had a fall whilst on the p!ss.

Not that drink driving is a nothing crime, but has he done something more than that, that i have missed to be associated with wife beaters, headstompers and others?

Either way, there are plenty of current roosters who have been found guilty,faced charges or been suspended by the nrl for numerous incidents. It's not like we are the pin up club of clean players, and we haven't been for a very long time.

It's rugby league, and there are very few clubs without incidents or dodgy players within their clubs. Time to start following a different code if some people's stances are so strong.
