He is the best defensive & toughest half-back in the NRL. His main problem is & has always been he doesnt read the play well enough & he has no short kicking game so he never gets repeat sets enabling the Roosters to put pressure on the opposition but his commitment & effort is spot on.

Nobody, not even me, has ever questioned his dedication to the Roosters or his commitment. His particular set of skills have always been in question. I've always believed he's a centre/lock like his father.

But I seem to be one of the only ones.

According to zero tackle Martin Kennedy is off contract at the end of this season, surely the Roosters are not still paying for him?

His contract would be null and void following ASADA's ruling.

We can't rely on Pearce when under pressure. The ability to come up with the defining play at crucial times is what separates the good halves from the great ones.
