I can cop the out of position situations when thrown in at the deep end , but the giving up possession on the Penrith line on the 3rd tackle was just not on , it wasn't a mistake , it was just plain stupidity.

We played bad , but I'm still dirty on the Merrin offload that we got penalised for a strip , that turned the game.

Please. Joey's not there to turn shit into silk mate. It just goes to show that our play making depth is terrible. Obviously Hastings won't be with us next year but for the sake of the jersey and fans he should have played last night. Matterson isn't a half. Watson is a strong runner but I think defences are going to work out that he's going to run 7-8/10 times. He did throw a nice ball for a try though. At least nikorima is a genuine, creative ball player which is what we are ****ing desperate for. We conceded 38 points against a side in which I'm guessing matterson is only really there for his size and supposed defensive advantage.
