Losing to the Sydney Tigers (geez I feel old) in round 1 of 1995 hurt.

We had massive expectations after years of disappointment. Phil Gould was the new coach, some new signings and a new beginning.

I remember walking outside the ground before the game and James Packer turned up in a 4WD convertible with two hotties in the back with him.

We were up 18-2 early in the second half until the Tigers stormed home to win.

Felt flat leaving the ground after that game.

          Farkin oath!

          Farking Gillmeister.

I remember seeing him on the floor outside Archie's on a Friday morning in 1989. We played Souffs that night, he had a shocker, and we got pumped.

Mavin was the prototype Souffs player we all grew up to hate.

Ha ha Steve Mavin, will always remember him best for having one of the classic all time semi final howlers to single handedly destroy any chance his team had that day. Think it was 87 v Canberra, hilarious.

Losing hurts a lot more when you're good and you expect to win. I thought we had the best side in 2014 and 2015.

Was at the game, and when I saw the rain come down before the match, knew they'd be in trouble. That side couldn't cope with a wet track. Otherwise, they were the best team in the comp. Same for 2010, but they were let down by disgraceful refereeing in the first half, forcing them to play catch-up football in the second half.

                  Archie's was their dressing room.

2004 Grand Final - I was in a bad mood for days after.
Then there was the 1980 Grand Final - I was 14 years old and devastated. That was probably more to do with my age though.

2010 GF brought me to tears, I was only like 13 but it'd probably do the same now anyway.

Thanks. He was my favourite player.

One year in the semis (I think 1996) we were bundled out in straight sets by my two most hated sides at the time - Saints and Canterbury.

                              That was rough.

It was 99, Canterbury first and then Saints the following week
