Pearce can't be great in every game. Perhaps 1 game per season. He's already had his day this year when we played the 'Doggies' where he was voted MOM now he should be rested till next season... How poignant... considering his doggie moment on Australia Day.

I agree that Pearce is usually mediocre and his attack in the opposition 20 is usually poor but if we punt him, who is our halfback? And please don't say Luke Keary.

He doesn't seem to have the ability to play what's in front of him. A couple of times we lost the ball because he still passed as he planned to even though the defence was up.
