  • Confident about tonight

Possibly our strongest line up all year, with a great forward line up and versatile back line...

We've been possibly the better team on the field against our opposition ever since the Melbourne game. If we hold the ball we will win, however no matter how good we play (which we have these past 3 weeks) the only thinking I am severely worried about it the Bunker involvement with the game...

It has been the case with the past 3 games - Manu Penalty Try against the Warriors and the Matterson non knock on, The bulldogs allowed to have two players ground the ball whilst held up and the six again call we should have got last week in the last 53 seconds to give us the opportunity to redeem ourselves and rightfully win that game through some of the stupid handling errors we made....

That is the only thing I am worried about tonight........

    I'm confident too.

I think the boys will definitely see this as a chance to get some pride back after a shambolic season to date.

Depends if they can aim up for 80mins instead of 60, against the toughest side in the comp.

I haven't been confident since about round 10 - doubt i will be until at least round one!

I am, however, and as always, hopeful

        Go the chooks!!!

Gawd who would have thought it Cronulla being referred to as the toughest team in the comp, oh how times change.

Once again the typical chookpen attitude rears it's head. If you truly believe the only way we can lose the game is through refereeing or the bunker, then no matter what happens that's what you'll attribute any 50/50 calls or a loss too. We're 15th. They're 2nd. We can definitely win tonight but we will need to play out of our skin.

It's a shame that Cronulla are probably a 10 points better team than the Dogs team we played a few weeks back and 20 better than the 14 man Parramatta side that we played for the majority of our game against them. I like your confidence however man!

Our game against the Warriors was our best effort in defence and Fergo didn't nor Guerra played.

Those dudes need to pull their proverbial out.

But we are the Roosters man.

Cronulla are a quality team, we couldn't even beat them when they were crud. I think they might enjoy giving it to us man. Gallen always fires up for us.

I don't take too much notice of the 'experts' tips, but in one of the Sunday papers, the guy who is leading the tipping comp tipped us. He was the only one of the lot.
