The experimenting continues, gotta settle on a team for next year.

That will likely happen in a remaining game this season...my guess.

Seems Keary no 6 and Pearce no7 will be our future halves.
Keary looks very 'Jimmy' like to me.

We need two players trained for every position to have any chance of being competitive and covering injuries etc next season.
Keary/Watson as no 6, all good.

Pearce/maybe Hastings as no7, can't see Hastings hanging around playing for Wyong until Pearce gets injured or something else though.

He did make the bust late in the game that got the field position that led to Jennings try though.
He should be doing that for the Roosters from now on also.

Maybe our best team but we still lack speed - just wish speedy Watson gets more game time as the opposition don't know his attributes

If we're supposedly at full strength for the first time this year, can someone please explain how the fark "Gumby" Tupou makes the side over Joey Manu?
Manu is our up 'n comer whilst the other dud should struggle to get a run in 2017.

Ask our master coach Gman 🙄
Hard to respect Robbo with his continual support of Toopoo,it's become a joke!

I thought that while Manu has shown potential he was bloody ordinary last week. His kick returns were exceptionally weak. He meandered back to the defence before trying a little jig. Definitely still massive improvement in him. Of course his cover tackle was awesome!

His kick returns had been pretty good up until he made that chase on Bevan French, for the last 15 minutes or however long after that they were very ordinary, I think it was just after that chase he was buggered. Can hardly blame him, FG standard is a huge step up from NYC and if he improves his fitness he'd be solid for the 80, not just 65 minutes. At least he'll have a chance to improve fitness over the pre season. But also remember the kids position is centre, so he doesnt normally do kick returns. shame he's out this week for Fergo, if Tupou and Copley aren't on fire I say its time to Bring Manu in for one of them in the centres

I much preferred our team before the Origin players were cleared to return ...

Surely a first grade footballer can recover pretty quickly after a 100m sprint.

You couldn't light Toups or Copley on fire with a can of petrol and a lighter.

You do realize they cover 8-10km a game? So it wasn't like he sat on the bench for 65 minutes and ran on for a 100 metre sprint. He had likely already covered around 6-7km of running including about 12 hitups (he had 16 for the game for 160+ metres) before taking off on that sprint to catch French. Throw in the fact it was his second game only of First grade and the pace is a lot quicker than the NYC games he is used to, it isn't that hard to understand why that run stuffed him.

It was hilarious reading the mongs on the facebook page, they were bagging Manu and at the same time praising Jake Friend for being our best player because he made 55 tackles.. I bet primary school was the best 10 years of their lives.
