As soon as it is confirmed we have been put out of out misery, how do we move ahead with the rest of the year? Do we start dropping some of the old guys? Do we stick with old guys and dump some of the youngsters? Do we start playing players back into form via Newtown? Do we start working on some stuff for next year, or do we continue to develop our season gameplan and structure just to see what happens? Is there something else we should be doing? Interested to hear your thoughts...

As 2011 is over, I would like to see those players that are injured, not be rushed back for the final rounds of the comp. Better for them to not even to attempt to pay again this, and get a full pre-season under their belt. Time to plan for 2012.
A big clean out needed. Everyone on notice. Even the contracted players, enough time to shop the already signed deadwood around. Hard decisions need to be made. Both first grade and under 20's going crap. Jets going better, but the step-up to first grade for most is too much.
Two spoons in three years would be unbelievable!

Keep looking to build, young blokes and combinations. The pressure is now off because, 3 wins out of the 8, we are no longer in contention for the 8. Need to finish the year out as strongly as possible.
The only thing to adjust is for any player choosing between the knife and soldiering on - get the to the surgery.

The going's getting tuff, convicts!
Time to aim up.
Just 'shout' "Kokoda, never surrender" as you pass thru the turnstiles at home games!
It is your legacy.

With defeat looking inevitable, preparations were under way to form a defensive grid across central Australia .............
But back in Papua New Guinea, the Diggers, despite being down for the count, had refused to surrender.
They had endured two months of retreats up and down ridges that were knee deep in mud, starvation, jungle sicknesses and being soaked by constant rain, yet they still persevered.

In all seriousness, is the season actually over? We're playing like shit but if by some minor miracle that Parra bloke sparks us up and we start getting troops back in the next few weeks is there any hope.
Christ, I sound like I've entered the bargaining stage already.Last edited by Madduke; 06-14-2011, 02:01 PM.
