No matter what anyone says, 3 wins all year with our roster points to a very, very poorly coached team. They can't or won't sack Robbo so they must get him some better help. Like a good attacking and ball handling assistant coach. They need a selection committee not just Robbo as he doesn't get selections right. He leaves out top form players and refuses to dump those continually letting the side down.
We need a change of captains. But that's a problem because after only 3 wins who do we have that leads by example? Probably Mitchell but he's too inexperienced yet showing up the whole team. I recognise that we can fix this team if we have a coach with a clue so the club needs to search for assistants with a clue to help Robbo who's losing the plot. We're not Newcastle and have both Origin and international players in our squad so the poor showing even with our players back shows Robbo can't coach for peanuts without the best roster in the comp and needs urgent help with some top notch assistants.
All he's shown he's good at are press conferences but we need a good coach and it's not him. He needs urgent help or like Stuart needs to go.
We thought we had a good excuse for our demise when our top players were out but they're back and we're still losing. All roads lead to the coach. He can't worm his way out of this one. Not refs or bunker or injuries, it's him, it's his poor selection and training style. He must take full responsibility and stop shifting the blame.
And with another coach we would have made and won 3 premierships. The eels game was again lost on errors. Why are we the most error prone side in the comp? It all comes down to the coaching style. It needs to change.
