    Sign Corey Parker

    After the game tonight it has become very obvious we have a really big leadership problem.

    Most of us agree that Jake is useless as a captain and have known that for a long time but the wider leadership group is directionless and prone to panicking in the big moments of a game.

    Cords is probably the best we have but still a bit green imo.

    We went to pieces against a team which was shot and down by 12 points with one player on the bench.

    A cool hard head would have helped us get over the line.

    Parker wanted to run around for another season or two with the Broncos and he is still killing it in Origin.

    Lets make a play for him.

    I wouldn't mind Parker for a season or two, he looks after himself, and has a football brain.Plus a great goal kicker as a bonus.

            It's a shame he is giving the game away as I remembered him saying before he was feeling on top still and wanted to play 2 more seasons with the Broncos.

            I actually mistakenly thought the Broncos didn't offer him a 2 year deal. Apparently they did but he decided to retire and will continue to work for Broncos Pty Ltd.

            Sigh!!

            I agree now Cords to be captain possibly a year too early for mine but we have no other options. I hope he proves me wrong and is a really great Roosters leader from day one. I don't doubt he won't be a great Roosters leader but maybe it is just a bit too soon.

            No to Nathan Brown mate, I would prefer M'au from Parrra

                I couldnt see Parker playing for another team other than the Broncos even if he wasnt retiring.

                  All my normal anti-nrl rants don't count coz they're on the money, so people should let us indulge for once.

                  Parker wasn't ready to retire when skeletor tapped him on the shoulder with his boney hand. Of course Bronco pty ltd are famous for making calls like this, but it was unpalatable to them to have Parker doing a Petero , so they gave him a giant post-retirement carrot.
                  This is all part of the premiership push.They are overdue, the nrl owes them.
                  This years fairy tale could see Parker-mania overwhelming the city of Brisbane.

                  It's all the Roosters fault of course.
                  We threw off the schedule by taking Souths turn in 2013.
                  The all QLD gf was the nrls compromise, but broncos pty ltd aren't gonna settle for that.

                  If things don't go to news ltds plan, expect Parker to get bad post- retirement blues.
