  • Symonds...was he hooked?

I don't recall him being on the field in the second half.

Made a few mistakes (penalties, dropping the ball and missed tackle on Blair) and I didn't see him again. Was he hooked or injured or was he on the field and just did nothing?

I dont remember seeing him either

he gave away two soft penalties and missed two obvious tackles in quick sucession and then disappeared

Looked like he was hooked and did he ever deserve it.

That first penalty was the worst i have seen this year. Killed our momentum quick smart.

what a way to blow a game

I know he is young but Symonds is soft.

His runs are soft and his tackles are soft.

Compare him to Cordner, he is already much better.

            Too soon to judge.

Tommy was dreadful today but he will learn from it. He is a great hole-runner. We need to establish some sort of a structure that allows him and Cordner to run those lines. At the moment, we look clueless.

I agree. Many on here, imo, overrated him early on. He can be a smart player at times but fark me he can be really soft and his workrate leaves a lot to be desired as well

He was terrible tonight but I still would've brought him on late in the game instead of Riddel to see if he has it in him to redeem himself

Or did he get injured again??

Riddell doesn't replace Friend anymore. He replaces Symonds. Its a tactical move to confuse the opposition.

and the referees, and the fans, and anyone else watching the game
I support two NRL teams, the Roosters and whoevers playing Souths

I actually laughed out loud! LOL!

Back on topic (oh my god that was funny!), I think Symonds needs to bulk up a fair bit, and get some aggression in his game. He's pretty tall, but he needs to add some muscle mass to his frame, so he can bump players off.
