It doesn't work that way.

If Gutherson doesn't touch the ball then Manu catches is it on the fly and is more likely to score. He had to slow down and reach behind giving the cover D enough time to force him out.

I must say he is very very average with more than enough mistakes in his game, another player that needs to be moved on.

He missed the tackle for Mau's second, and threw the intercept pass to French (which wiped out Manu). Copley killed us tonight. Unlike others who made dumb errors but still managed some quality, Copley did shit-all, all night.

No , at 19 Latrell is still on one big learning curve. SKD at 28 is still making the same school boy errors he was making at the start of his career. Latrell Mitchell was thrown in at the deep end this year and has been on a steep learning curve, Robbo said in the press conference he should be playing on the wing at the moment. I wonder next year with Gordon coming to the Roosters whether Latrell will go to the wing with Gordon at fullback and then interchange a bit like Mini and RTS did, who knows.
