Why is he making so many tackles a game ? Don't we have second rowers and props who can pull some of the slack ?

His attack is non-existant because he is drained from the constant tackling he has to do. I'd shudder to think what our defence would look like without him. he plugs up some crucial holes up the middle. That tackle on Widdop was a classic cover tackle (at the end of the game too!). Gave away a silly penalty but as the commentators noted it needed to be made.

He is starting to get frustrated, evidenced at the end of the game.

Either get others to pick up some defensive effort or give him less minutes so he can concentrate on attack.
