So radradra has been accused of kicking his partner in the stomach whilst nine months pregnant. An AVO had been taken out against him. Whether he's guilty or not he'll have his day in court.

My question then, is why is all the talk about semi regarding whether or not he'll play this week? Why hasn't he been stood down pending investigation? Obviously the club and the nrl are wary of this as they are afraid to lose him to a rival code..

Isn't this what the integrity unit was created for? Unbiased decisions removed from the clubs? What is skd thinking?

Yet again, this makes my thought that footballers should be treated like gladiators and locked in cages between training and matches seem almost a sane one.
    SUPER DRAGON!

Why should he be stood down? He has not been convicted of any crime..

SKD was not stood down, why should Radradra?

Do you mean why hasn't Premier Mike Baird weighed in on the situation?

Agree PTB - Baird should show some leadership and pass judgement before his case is heard in court!!!
Hang on, the silence is deafening!

Agreed... clearly if he did what he's alleged to have done then he's pretty f*cked. However, he's allowed his day in court and we'll wait until thrn to find out what happened.

No point being an opporunistic d*ckhead like Baird and using an allegation of DV as a chance to prejudice the matter by pre-judging it and spreading s*it about it.

That's really a very good idea.

Jeezuz – that's quite the accusation! Has he been charged?
Making Steve Naughton look like Vince Mellars...

If he's innocent, how does he prove he's innocent from 2 years ago?

Looking at the 'DV climate' here, and the outburst from that woman on the FS...if I were him, and innocent...I wouldn't bother coming back here, and would wave the NRL goodbye and go play RU in France.

He doesn't have to prove he is innocent...

It is up to the other side to prove he is guilty..

You don't just get convicted because someone accuses you of something, it must be proven.....

In saying that, domestic violence is a huge problem in both Australia and Rugby League that must be addressed..

Baird wanted to change the law of the land to guilty until proved innocent.
Maybe he was thinking that should only apply to Rooster players?

And I thought the premier up here was bad.

As he said when his side Manly were raised in match fixing allegations, "There is a process to be followed and we should await the outcome".

That's the way it used to be...and should be.
Seems these days it's completely the opposite.

The dogs did exactly that with Jeff Robinson. They fed him raw meat as well.
