Why do you think Friend and Jr are our captains ?

and not jwh / cordner. I'm keen to hear ur thoughts on why they were made captains. To me and probably 95% of us on here think there's no one better to wear the C next to their name other than Jwh and Cords. I believe cordner will be our future captain but why no jwh? Jakes redemption story ? how he changed his life around and worked his ass off to come back? Pearce because his been with us practically all his life ? No one truly knows accept people from within the club but I'm very keen to why you guys think robbo went with those two. Cause at the moment it seems like a stupid move

It seems every time we go into a losing streak or have a bad season the rumour mill works double time. We need a coach, sack him,buy him, why isn't he getting game time, we need new captains, who's fault is it, our culture is terrible.
They did OK jobs as captains last year and we won the minor premiership now when we are running 2nd last we need to sack them. I don't get it? No there not the best choice but there the coaches choice and for all we know it was the players choice too

My 20c... when we're winning there's no need to challenge our leadership groups. When we're losing under circumstance where an ex-captain was sacked for shagging a dog and the other one's got this weird tension going with a young half then I think we are right to challenge what's going on from the top down.

I'm not yet convinced that Robbo's a hack. He won 3 minor premierships and this season doesn't all come down to his coaching (many of the recruitment/retention decisions woulda been signed off above his head). Canavan already left a few weeks before the start of the season... you wonder if it was 'voluntarily'. I guess it was? Now he's in a MUCH bigger job.

Not saying Friend NEEDS to go, but I always saw him as our vice captain with Pearce as captain (although they were co-captains on paper). IMO the question has to be asked... is he a good outright captain? I think his record with Hastings (which cost us the game last week and makes us look stupid as a team with frigging SST converting and Friend doing all the kicking) is at very least questionable. IMO he coulda handled this all a LOOOT better. One cheeky kid in the context of this season? IMO Hastings has been playing well for a half in his first full year (under all the pressure he's had) and he's our best conversion kicker by a mile. Give him a lollypop and move on IMO! If Friend can't do that and it keeps costing us games then give him the Hastings treatment - you can play for Wyong with JWH and Cords co-captaining... bruh!

Can't very well sack him mid season and let's be honest the season is pretty well done as far as we are concerned, although he need's to be put on notice as his own game is so far behind what it was two years ago. He has proven he isn't Captain material by the handling of (a) The Press Conferences (b) His inability to see past his want's/desires over what's important for the team, it's easy to lead a team whilst you are on top and nothing is going wrong but your true mettle as a leader is shown when you have to rise from adversity., something he has shown thus far he is incapable of doing.

Is SST kicking because Jackson calf/quad/hammy problem isn't 100%. A doubt very much Friend makes that call. Maybe that's why Jackson is not taking on the line with any great purpose. Maybe Friend is trying to take some pressure off him by taking on more responsibility (over playing his hand though)
What I'm saying is it's all speculation and here say that seems to get louder and louder when we are not winning. For all we know there's no attitude problem at all, it's just teething problems from having a kid have to step up and steer the side around without a recognised playmaker to help.

WTF? Pearce was sacked from the Captaincy after doggygate.

So a quick summary of the last few days here.. We should have been awarded an 8 point try v the Warriors because the Dragons got one against Melbourne in the 1999 GF, however we don't get any bunker decisions going our way because Luke Phillips hates us. We aren't going to sign Jarrod Hayne and Mitchell Pearce and Jake Friend should not be co-captains. We also should reduce SOO to 2 games per year.. Such quality..
