  • Cordner back running chance to play origin 3

seriously who gives a crap about origin 3, its a dead rubber, if he is not fit to play against the Bulldogs next week the club should rule him out of origin contention.

Braith Anasta's Wallet believes that the Sydney Roosters should be able to block this from happening.

Cordner gives everything in his performances for us, I will never begrudge him of any indulgence.

If only half our squad had his temperament & passion we wouldn't be in the position we are.

Good luck to him, I hope he plays & kills it.

Doesn't the club benefit(sponsorship wise) by having representative players in their playing group.

Just to expand I'm more concerned about him rushing straight back to a dead rubber origin game if he's not fully recovered and risking re-injury. Otherwise I don't begrudge him playing.

Braith Anasta's Wallet agrees with the sentiments made by Rooster_6 and he or she is correct that Boyd Cordner deserves his spot however I am concerned that Boyd will be rushed back to play a meaningless dead rubber match in origin that has no consequence to the series besides potentially injuring Boyd Cordner once again and leaving our team without one of our leaders and most important players. We all know that Boyd will play the game extremely hard and that also increases the risk of another injury.

Had this match been a decider then I would not be against his selection but the series is over and no player should be rushed in for the match.

It hasn't benefited personnel wise since Cordner got injured in Game One.

Awesome 100% I'm so on board for this, wouldn't it be great to see Boyd 70% fit play this epic origin cliffhanger re-injure himself and miss this season and some of next year. Go for it I say.

                      Agree.

However, the club rewards players with a financial bonus if they play rep footy. This is in their contract. My guess is Boyd has the clubs blessing if he's fit to play.

Boyd will play whether his 50% or 100%. If he thinks he can go he'll play. It's the sorta character he is and one I admire and am proud that he wears our colours. Didn't he play nearly a full game with a broken bone in his foot in game 1 ?

Eddie agrees with Braith "Anasta's" Wallet , except for the last sentence that Braith "Anasta's" Wallet wrote.

But that is only because Eddie hates state "of" origin ,.................. deciders, dead rubbers and all.

Is anything going to go our way this year? Like anything at all? We seriously cannot take a trick this year, FMD. Next we'll have Robinson and Politis out with injury.
