And now the light switch is turned on !

Any team with a solid structure, Cronk fits in. Best half going around without a doubt.

I reckon he creates the structure because he:
        - NEVER makes a mistake; and
        - always sticks to the game plan.

Most halves I know of have a havit of sticking to the game plan until things get tough... then they do crazy shyte like going for misplaced 40/20's, kicking on the 3rd, doing no-look passes into the grandstand and running out of line in defence attempting to pull off impossible intercepts.

There's lotsa great ad-lib footy players, but they won't give you the kinda consistency that Gronk churns out. We NEED somebody like him to straighten out our boys.

Storm do not seem to have trouble "growing like players" , nowhere near as good yet but they are biding their time and make the most of it when Cooper is off else where.

They aren't any quicker than other player they are just smarter about the task.
I like smart players. We could certainly use a few. We seem to have some real dummies - Pearce, Friend, Fergo, etc. These guys seem like they might have trouble spelling their own names without assistance.

Cronk is a good player. But he is the semi human element between the two (slater and Smith) and the robots that play in the rest of the positions.
I would be very interested to see how Cronk went without Smith and esp Slater.
I know Slater hasn't played for a long time but he has coached and managed the storm backline for years. I would think he is doing the same for QLD

Try and be serious and you will look stupid

Slaters fill in goes pretty good, it was interesting watching Cronk without them back in 2012 when they played us late in the comp, from memory BJ scored a triple and we put more than 30 on them?
