And there it is, the absolutely stupidest signing of a player since picking up Paul Vautin in 1990. That's not scraping the bottom of the barrel, that's digging into the weevil infested wood pulp of all the other barrels that have been scraped clean of players so far past their prime that this club has been duped, like a retarded client of a smackie whore, into buying.
Keary and Gordon, some real marquee premiership winning players there.
Seriously, not since Ricky the Dickhead Stuart's "Oh, I've seen Thurston play, he's too small, he'll never amount to anything", have I seen a more hamfisted, ill thought out, just plain frigging wrong recruitment decision.
Dale Shearer, David O'Donnell come to mind too when talking about pointless signings.
not too many available x factoir players around tdk thats why aucklandwere so underhand dealing with our roger! it bit them on the bum but stuffed up a year of rts career?
I can't fathom Johnny's tirade, what happened to the philosophy and the u tube clips?
I miss the old Johnny.
Gordon is a good signing and exactly what we need short term.
I wanna see how Latrell goes at centre for a year.
And we need a better goalkicker, especially if Hastings is on the outer.
I'm happy at this.
Just what the doctor ordered, like LOD in 2013.
As would I as I think Latrell would kill it at centre like Greg Inglis back in his Melbourne days. Agree also as far as a goal kicker is concerned SST is a bit up and down and he won't be on for the the full 80 mins.
I'm a little worried about where we are heading next season. The likes of Gordon and Keary are better than average signings but are nowhere near what we lost in Maloney and RTS. I thought we would aim high and secure a X factor player which we so desperately need.
Who says we aren't? No one knows who we are talking too.
Injuries have certainly been on the up since Keegan Smith left. I said it before and I'd say it again.. I'd chase him as hard as any player we're after.

Yeh noticed this as well, let's hope we are not entering an injury dynasty the likes of Penrith and the Tigers seem to have had for years.

Interesting that.
Injury run could be more than bad luck?

And he left very quickly too. The premiership winning set up off the field was disbanded very quickly all things considered.
An astute signing. An experienced head and hands in the backline who is safe under the high ball and goal kicks as well. And will not have cost a fortune.
He will be able to mentor Latrell on the field as well as off it. I can't see any negatives. The bloke looks fit, seems pretty clean living and will only be a benefit to the squad, on the field and off it.
Supporting the RW&B, through good times and bad times.
Interesting that.

No such thing as bad luck. Training, nutrition and recovery as important as anything. Keegan is world class. Probably makes a boat load more away from the game than in it. As BAW said though, you'd think they'd have kept the set up?

Let's keep going, I'm enjoying this.
Brian Smith (the player not the coach)
Chris Walker. I've never seen a player pulled off at halftime by a coach before...well, there was that Wayne Pearce incident with Alan but nothing was proved.
