They don't need looking after if they are not up to scratch.

Absolutely, Burgess is not up to scratch and Manu's performance on the weekend has vindicated that.

With Gordon probably coming next year our outside back depth for next yearis not too bad and who gives a sh*t about the rest of this season we cannot make the finals so its a good time to let players with potential to do well next year play like Manu. Now we just have to deal with Toops lol.

Most of the team is not up to scratch. We get rid of our top goal kicker to the sharks. Plain dumb. See how Manu goes against proper competition

Agree getting rid of Maloney was ridiculous.

More upside to Manu than a so called international Burgess and as a teenaged player will have plenty of ups and downs but he has been in our system a while and feel more loyal to him than some pommie blow in.

I reckon there will be a cleanout at the end of the year so some of the overpaid loafers will be on their bikes.

Unfortunately its not just Burgess. Loyalty and decency has gone out the window.

That's the end result of the salary crap.
It's a stupid system that was never gonna work and it punishes success, and makes it impossible for some clubs to reward loyalty.
Another blight on the game inflicted on us by a governing body that's proved it's only forte is shooting itself in the foot.( and cronyism )
