    McFadden relates to Roosters' situation

When Warriors coach Andrew McFadden watches back over the previous performances of his opponents for this week, he sees plenty of signs he has become all too familiar with this season.
A side packed full of talented players who are down on confidence and struggling to deliver on the field, the Roosters share many of the same issues which had dogged the Warriors prior to their current two-game winning streak.
But despite coming off a 46-0 thrashing at the hands of Melbourne last week – their biggest defeat of the season so far – McFadden believes the 15th-placed Roosters aren't far away from turning their fortunes around in 2016.
"We can probably take a fair bit out of that [Roosters] performance on the weekend, we have been there as well, and what I know is you can turn it around very quickly," McFadden said.
"They have got enough quality in their team to be able to do that.
"I guess I am a little surprised [about where they sit on the ladder], there is no doubt there is a lot of quality in their side, but that just shows you the quality of the competition and how things can change so fast.
"[They] have got a bit of quality coming back this week and that will make a big difference for them, so we are certainly anticipating a very strong performance.
"The guys coming back into their side in [Dylan] Napa and particularly [Shaun] Kenny-Dowall, changes them a fair bit."
Although Trent Robinson's side have only three wins to their name so far, and sit in the bottom four teams in terms of points scored and conceded, Warriors halfback Shaun Johnson believes they will present a huge threat come Sunday at Mt Smart Stadium.
"I am [wary of them], I think everyone knows they are a much better side than where they sit on the table, and that is the way we are looking at them," Johnson said.
"They are a dangerous footy side – they have been minor premiers for the last three years or so – they are a quality side and we are going to treat them that way.
"We are certainly not getting ahead of ourselves and are looking forward to another challenge."
Ahead of the Round 15 clash the Warriors have made only two forced changes to their 17, which has scored a combined 86 points and leaked only 32 over the past two weeks.
With Jacob Lillyman earning a Queensland recall for Origin II and Manu Vatuvei out with a hamstring injury, prop Toafofoa Sipley comes in to play his second NRL game and winger Ken Maumalo earns a start on the left flank.

Lol the Warriors talking us up. Teams usually bounce back after getting hammered the week before, with a better performance. We have hit rock bottom, so I am expecting a better performance this week. Hopefully we can surprise the inconsistent Warriors. SKD first try scorer. Go Easts..

Maybe his mum but does anyone still care about this weekend's match? Sure better than watching grass grow but if we win there will still be that slight hope that we might come good. Sounds like a form of self torture. I'll be watching but not expecting much more than a laugh

Members of other clubs talk about how dangerous we could be and how we're not a 'second last' team. Wonderful to hear. Have they looked at our side, in particular with injuries,. Did we not just get smashed 46 zip by the Rain Drops. Cut the crap. Yes we're coming 15th. Can't defend or attack for Shyte. No team unity. More thrashings to come. Facts are facts.

People would be offended at his unprofessionalism if he said his Auckland Warriors team would easily defeat us.

Well said man. We suck and well and truly deserve to be where we are on the table. It is what it is. No point in denying it

Yeah of course, a bit of a silly rant but It pisses me off when I hear other coaches / players praise us when it's so obvious that that we're second last for a reason, and no we are not gonna turn it around in a week.

Also, I find it amusing that he believes his side have turned the corner. I think they've won 2 in a row and they traditionally do well during origin.

Like I said, a silly rant cause we're really in the Shyte.

I think we can beat them. If Pearce plays I think we will beat them.

Would be nice. But with the bye next week I don't think they will risk Pearce.

I can't believe how little footy Pearce has played since last years hammy, then the dog act suspension, then the calf. Shyte

Despite the score last week I thought we did alright. Possession was pretty even and we had 75% completions against a dominant, in-form team.

Against a lesser team we coulda scored some tries and gained a bit of attacking monentum, which can really turn things around (due to some really poor errors, we never really put the Storm to the test - had we gone into 1/2 time with the scores 12-18 then scored the 1st try in the 2nd half rather than buggering all 3 then the game probably woulda been a lot tighter IMO). Also the Storm had ZERO errors... while you can't rely on them, I reckon the Warriors might make 1 or 2 errors.

It's all media talk, but I think that unlike the Knights, we are capable of upsetting a few teams in their quest to make the 8.
