Moylan looked nervous but did combine well with Maloney
Mansour is nothing more then a reliable first grader
Morris looked underdone big time
Jennings was threatening and defended well
Fargo, personally I thought he was soft. There was no urgency in anything he did
Reynolds, terrible kicking game, terrible service defended well
Woods needs more game time
Farah has had it, he's got nothing left
Gallen see Farah
Tamou had a good first stint but did nothing when he came on
Bird is a hog
Klemmer and Fafitta did a good job and got us going forward
Walker, what a waste of a bench spot

Daley can not coach, it's not club football it's origin. Play some football in game two. Play direct, when we do, which was probably twice the whole game we look dangerous

Yup! Daley only thought that just because Reynolds kick on that ground all the time at club level, he'll be fine for a different type of pressure. Daley has NFI as a coach. he should have gone with experience and had Maloney kicking.

You can have mountains of possession but you need to do something with it.
What I wouldn't give for Luke brooks +10kgs and a season in a decent footy team. We need a half who knows how to play football not a good organiser or the best general play kicker, a half back with a bit of vision, a bit of flair. For 10yrs we have selected blokes because there solid defenders or there great kickers or there calm under pressure or there great organisers. Give me a halfback with a bit of flair, a bit of creativity. Need to score points to win footy games and we can't do that

We as in NSW had our opportunities and just couldn't do anything with it, I thought Reynolds didn't do enough with either ball in the hand or the boot when he could get it as Farah and Gallen hogged possession, Bird did the same when he came on again, don't these guys ever learn.
The refs allowed Dad's Army to slow the ruck down to a crawl so we couldn't get a roll on, the Refs did the same last year as well it just turns the game into a hit up fest which suits QLD anyway as they were knackered halfway thru the first half and the very slow ruck gives them time to set.. i wasn't too impressed with Moylan droppsies, poor positioning although his grubber in the first half was good..
I though Cord's was our best the beast didn't stop all night and you could see the hurt on his face after the game, atleast it means something to one of them.

Mate even the lead up, there was no aggression or crap talk, the coaches and cam smith were complimenting the opposing teams after the match? It has turned into an exhibition match these days, not an origin match.

I wouldnt be too harsh on NSW they can never play the game properly when Canetoads lie all over the ruck and slow it down ...seriously ref couldve easily given NSW 50 penalties for ruck infringements

I don't know, you read the forums or Facebook and people are saying the NSW team sucks, saying we should drop players and are panicking. If you think about it, we only lost due to a penalty goal which wasn't even really a penalty and Morris came close to scoring a try and would have got it if not for Guerra's hand.

I think the debutants did well. Moylan made a couple of errors but also made a couple half breaks and also almost set up a couple of tries, he definitely deserves another shot in Game 2. Mansour ran hard and didn't let anyone down, Adam Reynolds whilst not playing like a 2005 Andrew Johns definitely was actually pretty good, a couple of half chances. The only one who offered nothing was Dylan Walker but nobody expected greatness from him.

I think for Game 2 you bring Dugan back and consider bringing in the experience of Luke Lewis to replace Dylan Walker. With Lewis you can bring him on with 20-25 left and he's good enough and calm enough to potentially lay off a killer ball or make a break himself. He's the kind of utility we need for a high pressure game in Queensland.

Keep the spine, the backs (Apart from bringing Dugan in) and the forwards. It's a good team that just needs a little bit of tweaking. We'll look a thousand times better with Lewis coming on with 20 left.

Experience aside, Maloney has had the better average for the past 3 years (better than JT.) I was surprised because I thought it was a no brainer.

I don't think the nsw team sucks, i just think the whole game sucked, qld were no better than nsw either, but they are happy because they can now close out the series in qld.

The origin spectacle is now becoming a glorified normal nrl game.
