True. But I'd think most clubs and those within the nrl know what really goes on. My guess is that less than 1/50 incidents make the media.

I'd hate to see Elliott go. At the moment, he's definitely the best defensively in all of our outside backs, with SKD out (better than Burgess, Fergo and Toups combined defensively for that matter), yet still playing reserve grade???? And in saying that can still find the try line. Dropped last year after scoring a triple in the game before lol tough gig

If Elliot was bigger he'd be a first grade regular.

I'd agree with that. I think he has the speed and requisite skill level but lacks a bit of size. If I were in his shoes, I wouldn't sign with Newcastle - there's no real guarantee that he will get week to week first grade experience there plus it's not exactly a club going places. Those comparing Elliot's departure to that of Kane Linnett's and Joey Lealua's are a bit off the mark. Both those guys were starting centre's / wingers within the top 25 when they left. Whilst Elliot is a good player, he isn't a starting centre / winger in our top 25, I don't think.

Lealua was friggin awesome against the dogs. Sia is still going strong also with that try at the end.

Talent has never been the issue for BJ. Its always been attitude.

BJ killed it against the Dogs. He's a gun centre on his day. But as WB says, his attitude and commitment some sometimes lets him down. Sort those two out and he'll continue to scare defences.

Joseph "BJ"Leilua's best days are few and far between

BJ is a slug who was part of our infamous 2012 slowest backline of the century team. It is no coincidence Jennings tore Raiders a new one, and just a pity James Roberts plays on the other side of the field.

I expect BJ to become a decent second rower one day after all coaches realise he is a terrible defender in the centres.

When BJ is on, he's twice the player Fergo is.

The problem though is consistency and that he's A grade farkwit.

BJ occasionally had hands like feet when he played for us, and usually had an unforced error or two to contribute.
                          Had ability tho.....

Any takers for Nathan Ross? Has been impressive every time I've seen him play this season. Fast, strong, determined seems to always give 100%, bit of a late bloomer at 27 but looks good in a weak field of off contract outside backs.

Never go full retard. Puts the pro Pearce anti Maloney stance in pretty good perspective reading your and BAW's assessment of the form centre of the NRL.

I'd feel guilty taking any decent players from the knights. How the let tapine go..
