I lose complete interest in rl when the Roosters are doing badly. We have a good enough side to do well this year but for some reason the team's attitude sucks. I know that if the Roosters ever ceased to be I would be lost to rl for good.

Mate, cherish every win and drag what positives you can out of every loss, that's all you can do for a season like this.
After the shit we put up with in the 80s and 90s you should be able to handle this, this club never stays on the mat to long.

If we win just one game a season, we improve on the year I was born(1966)...
I grew up & played Australian Rules for 12 years...
However, all but 3 days of the year I leave the house wearing Roosters gear...
Every one of my family, neighbours, workmates & community 'know' who I support...
Even have personalised plates on my car & a spare set should I buy a second...
I can be proud after a win & critical after a loss but support each week & attend games when possible..
I'm not a fair weather fan & have supported the Chooks since 1971...
Born & bred in Brisbane, so those 3 SOO days each year, I wear maroon...
But I will support & follow the Mighty Roosters each week until the day I stop breathing...

Last nights game was entertaining!
Two teams full of quality players that have great coaches.(And no cap)
Ditch the salary cap. Have all the talent condensed into a 10 team comp with promotion/relegation.
The fewer TV games would be offset by higher TV ratings which shouldn't effect the broadcasting rights revenue. Case in point - SOO.
I haven't seen last nights numbers but i reckon it would've rated through the roof.

I don't subscribe to his rule though!

I have to say I have supported the roosters since the early 70s been through the good and bad times.
Being in Brisbane for the last 20 years I don't get too see them play much, nothing like sitting on the hill at the old SFG. What is pissing me off more then anything is the inconsistent interpretation of the rules every week month year they change the rules.
Yes we have had our problems this year not every year we can be blessed with players falling into our laps and no injures like the last few years.
I was at the game Monday night and feel the frustration of our forward pack given instruction from the coach to hit them hard let them know we are here to play hard. Only to be pulled up 12 tackles and 2 penalties later in the game you are tackling to hard and you striped the ball when Bird clearly throw it away what is forward pack to do??.
Two things can happen one was what happened put the cue in the rake and call it a game as we did. Our **** them all and play hard tough footy like it should be played to many soft cocks pea heart people running this game now.
When they disallowed our try which would off put us up 12-8 it ripped the heart out of every supporter their looking around you could see how gutter the fans were I am sure the players felt the same.
Yes still 20 min to go only down 8-6 we should of been good enough to win But when you are not allowed tackle hard and different rules for different teams it's very hard to win.
I walked out of the ground completely disillusioned with the game and I don't think I was the only one. Until every game is played under the same rules I only support the Roosters the game itself can get ****ed as far as aim concerned.

The NRL own the Titans and have bailed the Dragons out to the tune of $6 million. It's in their best interest to have these two garbage teams do reasonably well. The lower the Titans slip down the ladder, the more it costs the NRL. Ditto the Dragons.

Yes just needed to have a rant been pissing me off all week needed to vent some time. it's Saturday night and aim still pissed off must be getting to old.
I am sure there will be NO soft cocks out there tomorrow against the dogs should be a tough game and the true Roosters should be able to play how they and we know they can.
