    I guess most of us saw his comments. The Daily Telegraph are now reporting it;

    Most of us love Horrie but imo it is pretty stupid and naïve of him to do this. If Jackson is genuinely off side with his teammates his dad may well have just put the nails in his coffin. How are his teammates going to react to Jackson's daddy calling them out by name? Poor form by Horrie Snr imo and it is going to effect his son, not him.

    His form isn't the issue.

      He's entitled to his opinion as we are to our's and let's be honest the players he's alluding to have been rubbish as testament to this forum as it's the same players we have been calling out.

        Guys I guess I see one of the main points as Kevin has just made things a lot harder for Jackson. If my old man came to my workplace and abused my manager and colleagues do you think they would have it in for me? I definitely do.

          At least he should have guilted Pearce into turning down origin.. As much as I agree with everything he says, i wish he had an avenue to say it in house.

            Good support shown for his son and Horrie is probably right by saying Jackson is the scapegoat but I agree with Teriyaki that it'll add some extra pressure on Jackson to produce something extra from now on.. Being as young as he is and making the occasional wrong onfield decision was expected from someone of limited experience, but hopefully he'll get his confidence back without the limelight on him..

              Much like people almost saying that the old age pension is the biggest drain on the public purse, Horrie just stated what everyone who is not psychotically defending the booze crew knows. It's Pearce, Cordner and Guerra who are the dead wood in the team. But Pearce, for some god only knows reason, is untouchable and his buddy's won't get turfed if he doesn't.

              This is exactly like what happened when the late Graham Murray tried instill discipline in the club in 2001. Fittler and Fletcher, and their clique got rid of him. I would not be surprised that if Robinson tries to instill discipline back in the club that Pearce, Guerra and Cordner (with help from Wayne Pearce) don't get him turfed.

                I recall when Craig Wing's dad came out and blasted Stuart and the club when his son was pushed to the bench to put Finchy at hooker.

                At least when father Wing did it though he actually had a point

                  First time I have seen Cordner slotted.

                        I cannot fathom anybody believing that Boyd Cordner is dead wood in our team.

                          Something is definitely not right at the Roosters, and I'm sure it is going to come out sooner or later. I would prefer the he former so we can just officially write off this season and start building again ...

                            Hurrie is one of my all time fave Roosters but I think he's made a mistake by venting his frustrations with the club and some players on a public forum. The only person who will suffer is the one he's trying to defend, which is Jackson.

                            Jacko is not the first young bloke to be sent back to reggies, and won't be the last. He just needs to tough it out and play at his best for Wyong. Another opportunity will come for him.

                            Yes, Jackson has been the player most impacted by Pearce's enforced break, and that hasn't helped his form. But life is not always fair, and Jackson needs to accept that and move on.

                            I think Jackson's punting is as much about Ryan Matterson's good form as it is Jackson's average form. Can't blame Robbo for wanting to give Ryan a starting spot, as he certainly looks like he has talent
                            Supporting the RW&B, through good times and bad times.

                              Its pleasing to see Robbo finally make a form judgment and drop a player.. Guerra and Fergo would also be sailing close to the wind..
